Bridgetown Bonspiel 2.0

The Bridgetown Doubleheader
Bridgetown Bonspiel 2.0 -- "The Deuce"
Bridgetown 2.0 is the second half of Evergreen's inaugural Doubleheader bonspiel. Bridgetown 2.0 will be open format, welcoming teams with any combination of men, women, young, old, able-bodied or wheelchair curlers.
This bonspiel is part of a "doubleheader" consisting of two open bonspiels on consecutive weekends in March (the first half, called Bridgetown 1.0, begins on March 15th). Have fun, and enter either or both of the bonspiels! Prizes and awards for the two bonspiels are separate, so there is no requirement or advantage to entering both of them. We are doing it as a doubleheader to give more teams an opportunity to bonspiel in Portland during ECC's first year.
We will coordinate the spiel with a traditional ABC bracket so that you are guaranteed at least three games during the weekend. We will accept only 18 teams into Bridgetown 2.0, so get your entry in soon.
Draw times begin at 6pm PT on Friday.
In addition to curling we will offer a catered banquet on Saturday evening (March 23rd). You can purchase extra banquet tickets for $15 each. We will also run other fun side-games.
Hotel Accommodations provided by the Shilo Inn Beaverton. Mention that you are with Evergreen Curling Club to receive a $69 rate on Shilo's executive wing rooms. Parking is free at the Shilo Inn. We also recommend rooms at the nearby Courtyard Marriott Beaverton and Embassy Suites at Washington Square.
Bring your friends and family for sales-tax-free shopping, winery tours, or sightseeing, trips to the gorge, mountains or ocean. Visitors always have fun when they visit Portland.
Contact Bruce Irvin (email@example.com) for questions or call the club at 503-430-0910.
